Once again, God has shown His faithfulness through Once again, God has shown His faithfulness through His people. A month ago we made our financial needs know to all of you, especially regarding John’s tuition needs. We are excited and humbled to let you know that this term’s tuition has been paid in full. We praise God for all of you for your prayers and for all who gave generously of their finances towards our continued missionary training. We continue to be amazed and humbled by you, our partners in the gospel.

That being said, we still have ongoing financial needs such as John’s next term’s tuition which will be about $18000. Could you please pray about partnering with us in this way? If you would like to partner with us financially towards tuition or even towards our ongoing monthly living expenses (as international students we are not allowed to work at all other than a part-time on-campus job for John), please go to www.thefamilyofdunns.com/partner or via Venmo @John-Dunn-190 or via a check made out to Moody Aviation (inbox us for details).

We love you all and are so thankful to God for you.

On the 11th of July, the day we returned from Summer break, we started disassembling an aircraft engine with essentially no real experience or knowledge on engines, let alone how to take one apart and then put it together again. Now, less than 4 weeks later, I am standing next my and my group’s first ever disassembled then reassembled engine. It has been great. Tomorrow, we will learn how to actually take the engine off an airplane and then put it back on…it is a complicated process.

Over this past Summer break I (John) was greatly c Over this past Summer break I (John) was greatly challenged on how I prioritized (or lack thereof) family worship. Previously, I tried to fit family worship in wherever there was a gap in our busy schedule, but then I was greatly challenged by a podcast that I listened to that featured Dr. Joel Beeke. After listening to this podcast and then reading Dr. Beeke’s book on family worship, I am now convinced that our schedules need to revolve around family worship and not the other way around.

Our time of family worship looks like this: we begin with prayer, then sing a hymn or spiritual song, spend some time in the Word and discuss it afterwards. We then go through one of the catechisms, sing a Psalm, then finish in prayer.

Men, If you would like some tips and resource ideas on how to lead family worship, please inbox us. We would love to help.

Onward!

Would you like to be a part of taking the gospel t Would you like to be a part of taking the gospel to the nations? If so, we would like to invite you to partner with us in using aviation to take the gospel to people who otherwise would never hear about the Savior of the World, King Jesus.

You can partner with us in two ways; first, you can pray for us. Pray for our training and that we will overcome the many obstacles that we regularly face. Secondly, if God has blessed you with financial resources, would you pray about partnering with us financially?

What are our financial needs? The most pressing and urgent need is for my current term and future term’s tuition amount to be paid in full. Currently, I need another $3500 for this term. Then next term, because I will start my flight training, I will need about $18 000 (if we don’t take any loans).

Then, because we are here in the US on student visas, I (John) am only allowed to work part-time on campus and Tanya is not allowed to work at all. I only earn about $400 max per month. Therefore, if you would like to partner with us on a monthly basis for us to pay for living expenses with any amount (e.g. $10, $25, $50, $100, etc.) , this would help us immensely. We are so incredibly thankful for our gospel partners who already partner with us. We cannot do this without you!

If you would like to partner with us, please go to the link in our bio which will take you to our website.

We love you all!
I still find myself speechless that I have the ama I still find myself speechless that I have the amazing privilege to study at Moody Aviation. The fact that my training hangar is right next to legendary warbirds is just another, incredible bonus!

The Mission

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:13-15.
